The Villa

Villa Les Mimosas Logo.png

Once upon a time, at the very beginning of the Revolution, in 1780, the house you see today belonged to a sea captain. My imagination sees him treading the deck of his ship in Bordeaux or tacking, laden with goods and stories.

At that time, the lower Plassac was bustling with river and maritime activity. Many captains and merchants settled there, building solid stone houses overlooking the estuary.

The house, built in 1781, is part of this dynamic. You are here in the extension of this past where the Gironde fascinated the spirits of travelers and merchants.

An ode to times gone by….
and your stay

As you cross our threshold, you join the continuity of what Plassac once was: a land of sailors, vines, and the good life. Each stone tells a fragment of this story; every detail, from the facade to the wide open spaces, is a tribute to the spirit of the captains of yesteryear.
